There are many different categories of lessons and possibilities open to students at the Jim Royle Drum Studio. Our faculty is capable of covering instruction in any percussion instrument a student could want to learn including drum set, marimba, hand drums, and steel pan. Lessons are taught in three different types of time slots.
1/2 hour: $44.00
45 minutes: $66.00
Full hour: $88.00
During the school year we run the studio on a semester basis,18 lessons per semester, with both a fall and spring semester. Semester payments can be made either at the beginning of the semester, or in monthly installments. We accept students mid semester, so do not feel like you have missed out because you weren’t there for the beginning. Contact us about lessons year round.
If a student cannot make a lesson we ask for 24-hour notice in advance of the lesson or else the lesson will be considered lost. If advanced warning is given, each student is allowed one make-up lesson per semester. It is the responsibility of the student or parent to contact the instructor concerning the make-up lesson. If a faculty member has to cancel a lesson he will attempt to schedule a make-up in a timely fashion or arrange for a substitute instructor for the lesson.
